We are delighted to share the 25th edition of the Good Schools of India, a weekly publication of the Good Schools Alliance.
Yes, it is raining, and in fact, it's pouring. This month got off to a rocking start with the SGEF at Jaipur, against all odds and a herculean effort by the SooNews team, we stood on dry ground at the Clarks Amer grounds. Some of the finest minds are collaborating on a white paper titled “Purpose-Driven Education: Designing for Future Realities.”
It is very clear that the disruption is here, and testing is passe; the certificates do not get us a job anymore. Do we still need assessment and testing agencies? The pace with which technology and learning are leap-frogging means that the time has come to even question the current model of schools and schooling. The Workshops and Big-Table Sessions:
Who are we educating for?
The need for public-private partnerships
How can schools inspire the next generation
Not just AI-Ready but AI-Wise
Turning Lessons into Living Stories
Freeing ourselves from the hidden burden of reaction
Building a courageous leadership mindset
Can teaching he soulful again
Moreover, what was crystal clear was that a mind shift is in progress, and all stakeholders must come together to build an environment of trust and learning. Check out our mission at the Good Schools Alliance, which seems most relevant: Let’s unite all stakeholders to foster a culture of Reading, Reflection, and the cultivation of profound Relationships.
You will be glad to learn that the Good Schools Alliance is the Community Partner for SGEF, and our long-standing partnership is a cherished one.
